Frequently asked questions
Can I connect multiple Shopify stores to Brahmin?
Yes. You can connect multiple Shopify stores and manage them all from one dashboard. Each store can be mapped to a specific warehouse, so you can separate retail inventory from wholesale inventory while keeping everything synced in real-time.
Does Shopify POS sync with Brahmin?
Yes. Shopify POS orders sync down to Brahmin automatically. They typically come in as processed/closed orders, so your inventory is updated immediately without any manual entry.
How are products matched between Brahmin and Shopify?
Products are linked automatically by SKU codes. When you connect your store, Brahmin matches your existing products to Shopify listings by SKU — no manual mapping required for most catalogs.
Can I turn off inventory sync to Shopify?
Yes. Inventory sync from Brahmin to Shopify is a toggle — you can turn it on or off per store. This is useful if you want to manage inventory for some stores manually or if you're running a pre-order model.
Do I need Shopify Plus for this integration?
No. The Brahmin integration works with all Shopify plans including Basic, Shopify, and Advanced — not just Plus.
Can a Shopify order trigger a manufacturing order in Brahmin?
Yes. When a Shopify order comes in, you can either fulfill it from existing inventory or kick it off as a manufacturing order if the item needs to be produced. Brahmin handles both workflows.
Do discounts and promotions from Shopify carry over?
Yes. If an order has a discount applied in Shopify, that discount comes through to Brahmin so your order values and margins are accurate.
